WEDDING BOOKINGS

When is the best time to book my wedding date with you?
We highly recommend making your booking once your wedding date is set. Our brides typically book us 6 months to over a year in advance to ensure availability.

What information do you need for my booking?
We need to know what services you require for your wedding day, your desired styling location, the time you would like to be ready by and the time of your ceremony.

How do I secure my booking?
Once we have confirmed our availability to you via email or phone we require a security deposit of £100 per stylist. Once you have paid your deposit it ensures we are booked for your wedding day. If we do not receive any correspondence or deposit within a 48hr period of our initial email the date will not be secure.

I don’t tend to wear makeup, so feel nervous about having makeup applied, should I be?
Enhancing our client’s natural beauty is our specialty. We consider our clients concerns, needs and comforts when designing the makeup look. If you never wear makeup, a natural light application will be perfect for you.

Is it true that I have to wear heavy makeup for photos?
No, this is definitely not true. Beautiful makeup is applied in thin layers, not heavy on the skin. The lighting is what mostly determines the makeup finish. We use our professional skills to create a makeup that looks great in natural morning and evening light and also beautiful in photos.

I will be changing into another dress, Can I change my look for the evening?
Yes, we provide a re-style and touch-up service which is quoted individually depending on your change of look and time. Please enquire here for more details.

Do I need to touch-up throughout my wedding?
There are a couple of little touch ups that will be needed even with a professional makeup application. If you get teary eyed a little concealer under the eyes may be needed, a lip colour refresh from all the kissing and a touch of powder after all the dancing.

CONSULTATION & WEDDING TRIAL

What is the difference between a consultation and trial?
The consultation is a time to meet and talk through ideas to prepare you for your trial where we will create the look discussed at the consultation.

It is not convenient for me to book a consultation at ID in Emsworth do you offer an alternative?
Of course, for our brides overseas or with busy schedules we can arrange a Skype conversation with you. All our trials take place at our ID Makeup, Hair & Beauty Lounge.

What should I bring to the Consultation?
We encourage brides to bring moodboards, including pictures of the dress, desired hair and makeup, flowers, bridesmaid’s dresses, wedding decor, etc. We are lovers of Pinterest, click here to see our Pinterest page for inspiration.

Is it essential to have a trial?
We strongly recommend every bride to have a trial, it is important for you to see how you will look on your wedding day.

How long before the wedding do I need a trial?
Once you have chosen your dress and have had your consultation with us, your stylist will recommend when to book your trial, this is all dependent on when is right for you and the look you desire. We will always try and accommodate your desired trial date however weekends are booked for weddings, we are very flexible on

How long is the trial session?
Please set aside up to 2 hours for hair and up to 2 hours for makeup.

Can I bring people to my trial?
If you would like you are very welcome to bring someone along with you to your trial.

Do I need to bring anything to my trial?
We recommend you bring your hair accessories, hair extensions (if you require) and other accessories that you wish with you to see with your finished hair and makeup look.

Shall I wash my hair before the trial and have any makeup on?
We advise you to wash and dry your hair the day before and come with a clean face and no makeup. Try to time your hair colour with your trial so your colour looks fresh. If you are considering having semi-permanent eyelash extensions, natural tanning and eyebrow shaping we would recommend also having this 2 or so days before your trial.

Do my bridal party need a trial?
We always recommend trials however it is not essential for your bridal party. We can work with photos your may have and talk about your bridesmaids makeup looks at your trial and on the wedding day itself.
