Lucy and Catherine met through ‘The Federation of Image Consultants’ it was then they discovered a mutual passion for helping women optimise their personal appearance. Lucy is passionate about giving women the confidence to feel and look incredible through style, makeup, hair and skin care. Catherine offers carefully considered style advice, from creating a signature look to styling your work wardrobe, and translating the complex world of fashion.

Lucy Ward’s speciality is helping real women redefine the way they feel about themselves through make-up and style. Through training as a makeup artist, image consultant and hairdresser Lucy see’s the whole package from head to toe. She offers enjoyable personal styling sessions at ID to get you closer to being the person you want to be. The way we dress has an impact of the way we feel and everyone has the potential to look amazing. Lucy will give you the tools to have confidence in the way you dress.

Catherine Peel began her editorial career with a work experience placement in the Vogue beauty department, eventually becoming the Editor of Quintessentially (a luxury lifestyle magazine for the exclusive membership club) This gave her insider knowledge on the world of fashion and style. For the past 3 years Catherine has worked as an image consultant based in Hampshire, helping women to create an image that is right for them. From colour analysis to style advice, wardrobe editing and personal shopping, Catherine offers expert guidance on all aspects of your personal and professional image.

Colour Analysis

Wearing the correct colours can take years off and also makes clothes shopping trips exciting and easier. Clients are usually amazed by the dramatic effect that colour has on lifting their complexion. In this session we identify a palette of colours that compliments your natural colouring and show you the best colours for different occasions (ie work, parties, events, etc) We discover the ‘wow’ colours that will even out your skin tone, lighten up your face, and diminish shadows and wrinkles. You will also receive a wallet including an array of your personal colour swatches. The perfect companion to any shopping trip!

Style Analysis

Catherine will help you to identify your own personal style, understand how to dress for your body shape and proportions, and how to emphasize your assets and minimize the areas you may not be so comfortable with. You will learn about the type of fabric, cut, and patterns that best suit you as well as how to wear accessories. This will help you to understand why certain garments work/don’t work with your physique which will give you the confidence to know what is right for you. You will walk away with your own personal Style File giving you the security to know that you remain on the right style track.

Wardrobe Editing

Most of us only wear 20% of our wardrobe on a regular basis. This session will help you turn that around by deciding what to keep and what to throw away and how to put together the remaining items in your wardrobe. This is the start of creating a capsule wardrobe where you create many outfits from just a few key items. Opening your wardrobe door will become a pleasure.

Personal Shopping

Catherine Peel can help make shopping a more enjoyable and successful experience. She will personally visit the shops before your meeting and reserve some ideal outfits ready for you to try on. Taking into account your budget and what garments you desire, we will ensure you are making the right choices.

All personal styling services are priced at £70 per hour, so whether you require a complete makeover or some style advice, we will help you achieve your goals whilst embracing your new found personal style.
